My parents have broadband, you know.
Oooh, let them guest-blog. It’s the new black, you know.
hi again k. the 2 identical documents are because he is supposed to give one to the customs officials upon re-entry to the US, and keep the duplicate (duly stamped) as a record. but if his letter is for MULTIPLE re-entry, then on all subsequent trips he has to use the single letter he has kept (always keep it and get it stamped each time). all this happens during the somewhat worryingly entitled “secondary inspection” at passport control. but don’t worry, if you are all in order it is just documents that get searched. stay in the same queue (US citizens) together and you will be able to wait together. see also my related comment on your aug4 post and feel free to be in touch if you’d like further advice from another multiply paroled alien. cheers ~k~
Don’t tell me you WANT me blogging while we’re on holiday.
YES! we do.
That was horribly selfish of me, sorry.
Oooh, hiate, definitely. I had some guest bloggers once. THEY WERE DEAD SHIT.
The jury is totally out on whether “hiate” is an acceptable verb, Pete darling.
We definitely want you blogging while on vacation.
1. 512MB, you’ll fill that in no time.. or maybe that’s just me.
2. I can’t believe NO-ONE has picked up on the obvious “4 pairs of shoes” joke…
3. We DO have t’internet out here in the backsticks of the world ya know…
Oooh I agree we’ll miss reading your tales and will look forward to all the fun stories of you and Stewart on your return. A guest blogger would be so much fun.
Surely you can pack at least 5 pairs of shoes.
the type-A in my sooo enjoys your lists! since the grey lady has internet access, perhaps some postcards from across the pond (a la fish)?
