Here we are at Word Press! I mapped the domain myself! I’m giddy with power! Plus, seagulls! The world is indeed my oyster.
Hey! Who are you? For months upon months, my comment-y goodness has been trapped in this messy loop of MT’s sign-up system that never seemed to work for anybody, nohow. So if you’re reading this, will you leave me a comment saying hi, and where (if!) you blog, and promise me you’ll visit often? I’m dusting this thing off, shining the silver, and setting it to spin again.

Hurray, WordPress! Hi, I’m here. I’m going to be a librarian soon, too, and I have a blog. Stop by sometime!
Hey – I’ve been reading you since the pre-Stewart era although that doesn’t appear to mean that I’m confident about which way he spells his name.
I’m on WordPress too, although self-hosted. Mostly I write about classical music but often the topic strays to language, Dinosaur comics and occasionally monster trucks.
All the best for the new space,
Miss M
Hooray, you’re back!
Hola, fellow librarian here.
Thanks, you guys – hey, Tammi and Nicole! It’s nice to see old and new readers. I promise to not completely punk out on you guys again. It’s been a weird, wild, rough few years, huh.
Hi! I’m still here, and still reading when there is something to read, and I used to blog somewhere else, but have a WP space now too. You may or may not remember me.
Stephanie! I still wear that beautiful necklace you sent me as a gift. That was incredibly sweet of you.
Hey yay! Congratulations on the move! I’m always happy when I see a new post from you in my feed reader.
So exciting to see you back here! I have been lurking off and on for years so its about time I introduced myself! I harbour deep ambitions of converting my Bacherlor of Journalism and English into a Library science masters at some point but in the meantime I am spending a great deal of time fiddling with my camera and trying to live my dreams.
Been lurking for a while now. Really enjoy when you check in and glad to hear that it may be more often!
Hiya,
I have also been reading your blog for many years. I was psyched when you decided to become a librarian because I’m an English teacher who is obsessed with YA lit. I’m psyched for regular posts.
Hi! I’ve been reading for years, and have wanted to comment SO MUCH on the last few entries. I wanted to express my most sincere condolences regarding your dad’s death. My mother died suddenly, unexpectedly, when I was 25. I was completely unready for it. I am sorry that you had to go through that loss so early. Best of luck!
oh, HIIIIIII! I can finally COMMENT on you again! Fantastic! The new digs are delicious, darling, as was brunch today. You and your hubby make us always feel so at HOME in your home. Same goes always for the blog.
Hiya! I read your blog too though I can’t remember when I started – it’s been in my RSS reader for yonks! And of course I’ll visit often.
Still here & still reading… welcome back!
Hi. I’ve been reading your blog for, like, 10 years? Maybe? For a really long time, at least. And I do duck back here when you pop up on the ol’ RSS feed. Hope things have leveled out more for you, and please please please pray to the NYC gods for the weather to get cooler by the time I’m there in September? Please? Thanks. ^_^
Hi, delurking
Hi! Nice to see you back.
hmm, feels a bit strange to be saying “welcome back” since this is the first time i’ve commented…but it’s good to read your writing again. thankyou.
Long time no hear… hi from Oklahoma!
Hi Krissa! I’m a long-time reader from way back. Pre-Stuart era! I’m glad to see you blogging again. I love your writing.
I used to blog while I was living in Scotland but all that work was lost due to an ill-advised deletion of a Windows Live account. Long story.
Anyhow, hello now from Calgary, Canada.
Aww, I’m so happy to hear that!
I’m also happy to read the smiles you are working your way back to. (GAWD I could NOT figure out how to NOT end that sentence in a preposition… apologies.)
Hey – I’m a pre-Stuart era reader to. First found you on the links from the always awesome Sarah Brown back in maybe 2003? Anyway, congratulations on everything, welcome back, whatever, etc. I used to live in Boston but now have moved to rural France . . . Brittany.
Whoops, that should be “pre-Stuart era reader too”. There, all better.
Yay, everyone! How awesome is it to see you all chirping here? Super awesome, is how.
hi krissa! nice to finally be able to comment. geez.
we went to puerto rico a few years ago – the garlic mofongo is still on my mind.
I’ve been reading for eons too. I think I found you via This Fish. Glad you’re back.
Hi Krissa!
Just catching up on my blog-reading and so happy to see you’re at it again. Will be checking back in often now. Hope you’re well and enjoying the summer. Drew and I have moved to Brooklyn — not quite your neck of the woods, but closer. Maybe we’ll bump nto you again in Prospect Park some time.

Hello! Thought I followed the wrong bookmark. It looks lovely.
No blog for me. Just occasional comments.
Latercomer to the blogwarming party – but long time reader here as well. Love the new digs!
Hi!
Count me as another pre-Stuart era reader, as well (also found through Sarah Brown’s site, I believe). I’ve always loved your writing. So glad to see more postings, and love the new look!
